Anticipated closing costs

There are certain expected costs linked to closing the sale of a property. These fees are often split between the buyer and seller, some traditionally paid by the seller and others by the buyer, but almost all lender fees can be negotiated. They will be agreed to by all parties before the date of closing. I will be there to guide you through the specifics of your particular transaction.

When you are buying a property in Estes Park, I always recommend you meet with several lenders, looking for best rates and best fit for your particular situation. Once you’ve chosen the lender you want to work with, they will prepare a Loan Estimate that includes a "Good Faith Estimate" of closing costs within three days of submitting your loan application. The estimate is based on the loan officer's experience and provides accurate information so you know what to expect at the time of closing.

I'll review the figures to ensure that the closing costs are accurate and fairly apportioned and then we’ll go over it together before closing to make sure you understand and are comfortable with the information it contains.
